VEGAS was amazing!!! I have been horrible about posting. I promise that I will be better. I loved Vegas! I can't wait to go again.

Just a few highlights until I can post a more detailed posting.

So I've missed a few days of blogging. This weekend was pretty busy with work, and Jess' Bridal Shower. My camera has decided to give me some problems, I kept getting errors every few pictures. I'm crossing my fingers that PhotoSource can fix it and that it isn't too expensive. I really don't have the money to buy me a new camera. That's shelling out about 1,000, give or take depending on what I decide to buy (CANON).
Good News: My manager at Sears thinks that I'm doing very well. Yesterday, (one week of training), My manager said that if I keep working like I am, then I could be in management by December. That's 4 months!! That would be amazing. I started shooting all by myself today. I shot about 5 sits today, and I was able to sell them also. I need to practice more, so that I can get my PRS back to what it was. I used to get about 130 PRS, that means roughly each of my sittings spent 130 each time. That's awesome, if you have it! My asst. manager from the first time that I worked at Sears and me had the 2 highest PRS' in our studio. So Yesterday was really great for me.
And I shot the most precious baby today. He was 8 weeks old, and asleep the whole time. It makes it go really fast and easy. We got super cute pictures and the mom bought a lot, the only problem is her coupons were insane so she only spent 40 bucks.

Ran errands today with AJ...that's pretty much it. I bought 3 books for 8 dollars. I had a very boring day off from work. These pictures are from the boquet of flowers that I got my mom for her birthday. Enjoy!!

Finally I get to post. I am trying to post everyday, but I just started working at Sears Portrait Studio, and I am having to get used to a whole new schedule. It's exciting and frustrating at the same time. I've worked for the company previously, but since it has been 2 years I am having to complete the training modules which isn't fun. At least it's review so I score really high. Today I shot 3 sessions, which was really nice. I got to practice shooting newborns, and I had a really good group of 5 kids that I got to shoot also. I think that the pictures came out great, and my manager didn't say anything about them( no news is good news). I get tomorrow off, and work Friday.

I've been playing with some pictures from my 4th of July weekend in San Antonio. These are 2 of my second cousins once removed. The first girl is Brenna Rose, she is 3, and the second is Rylee Jane, she is 4. They are very photogenic and lots of fun to take pictures of. I hope that you enjoy them!

Here are some pics from my cousin Yola's Retirement/60th Birthday Party! I had so much fun seeing relatives that I haven't seen in years. Being with my family is definitely one of my favorite pastimes. I took hundreds of picture there and was so happy to share them with the family. The first picture is sangria that mi primo, David, made; the second picture is from the plant esperanza, which means hope in English; the third picture is of Klaus, mi prima Isabel's chihuahua; the fourth is of some of the yummy food that we partook in, tons of food; and the last image is of Yola's front foyer, I think that it could almost be out of another century. I love playing with my pictures to try and enhance them. I hope that you enjoy the pictures as much as I did taking them.

I had never heard of him before and I am so glad that my friend mario called to tell me that he needed more extras for the shoot. I enjoyed it, and I can't wait to see the video. Even Sage, my car, was in the shoot!
